What We Are Looking For:
At this time, we are looking to hire a professional Culinary Operations Manager on a full-time, permanent position to assist the restaurant.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing daily operations of assigned locations;
- Manages Food variance, organization and inventory of assigned locations and comes to a route problem solution;
- Manages labour and kitchen productivity of assigned locations;
- Training and developing of Kitchen managers and Sous Chef of assigned locations;
- Ensure company guidelines and procedures are followed in region;
- Store level kitchen standards are maintained in region;
- Deals with health and safety related issues in region;
- Continuous leadership coaching to store level back of house management;
- Assists in Employee investigations when necessary;
- Follow quarterly sales, labour and Cost Of Goods targets with assigned region;
- Regular career development of store managers of assigned locations;
- Ensures professional certifications are continuously updated in assigned region such as food safe, liquor serving certificates, etc.;
- Assist in implementation and training of new menus ;
Required Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
- Completion of a high school diploma – professional training in culinary would be an excellent asset!;
- At least 2-3 years of experience as Restaurant Manager – experience must be from the last 5 years;
- Excellent understanding of kitchen operations – previous experience as kitchen manager, line cook or chef would be excellent assets!;
- Ability to work with other people;
- Ability to work different shifts!;
- Excellent English communication Skills;
Compensation and Conditions:
- $45,000 per hour for minimum of 44 hours per work week;
- Overtime pay of $29.50 will apply after 44 hours of work per week;
- Permanent, full-time position;
