This is an outstanding opportunity to join our diverse and growing team where the successful candidate will collaborate with our Administrative/Operations teams to provide strong HR services and programs for employees throughout Canada, US. Singapore and Australia.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee employee onboarding and administration of training and development
- Manage compensation and benefits plans, and act as backup for administrating compensation & benefits (which are administered by HR staff).
- Manage and monitor performance-related issues and implement changes to increase productivity and
- Implement and administer employee policies while promoting positive employee relations and
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation, working to resolve any issues that may
- Coach management on how to conduct impactful performance reviews and check-ins with their
- Participate on HR strategic projects such as new systems/software/tools. Continuously strive to improve systems and implement new processes. Train staff on new processes.
- Manage and oversee Career Planning process, and specialized training (i.e. leadership / facilitation, )
- Identify and implement ways to measure and improve employee satisfaction and engagement with a largely remote workforce
- Ensure compliance with Employment law in all
- Oversee Full-cycle recruitment, including managing a recruiting firm as well as internal recruitment.
- Supervise HR department staff (i.e. two HR )
- Handle all employee relations issues, including
- Lead the Joint Health and Safety Committee in
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in HRM OR a post-graduate certificate in HRM required
- CHRP or CHRL designated preferred
- 2-3 years + of generalist HR experience in a similar industry (consulting, pharma)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word), Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of employment/labour laws, preferably in Canada and the USA
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Comfortable managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities
- Strong written and oral English communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop solid professional internal and external relationships with various levels of staff and stakeholders
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact
- Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
- High comfort with systems, processes and identifying ways to streamline/optimize efficiencies
- Excellent attention to detail

WHAT WE OFFER
- Full-time and permanent employment;
- Annual salary of $75,000.00 plus all work-related expenses would be shouldered by the company;
