WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently looking for 1 Landscaping Foreman for a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will work closely with our dedicated staff and experts to oversee multiple landscaping, interlocking, and site development projects, ensuring we continue providing our clients with the highest quality services and workmanship across our ongoing contracts.

As a Landscaping Foreman, you would be performing the following on a regular basis:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscaping, interlocking, and hardscaping crews across multiple project sites;
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the installation of interlocking stone, patios, walkways, retaining walls, pool surrounds, and related landscaping and site development projects;
  • Coordinate project timelines, site preparation, grading, drainage, excavation activities, subcontractors, and material deliveries to ensure efficient project execution;
  • Establish work schedules, assign duties, monitor project progress, and ensure projects are completed within deadlines and company quality standards;
  • Train crew members in job duties, safety procedures, equipment operation, and company workmanship standards;
  • Inspect ongoing work and completed installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and client expectations;
  • Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall project performance;
  • Requisition and coordinate the procurement of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies required for current and upcoming projects;
  • Assist management with project planning, workforce allocation, scheduling requirements, and coordination of upcoming project commitments and client contracts;
  • Perform hands-on landscaping, interlocking, hardscaping, and site development work as required alongside the crew.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of secondary school is required;
  • Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of experience in landscaping, interlocking, hardscaping, or related construction work, including experience supervising crews or leading project teams, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of interlocking, grading, drainage, and landscaping construction techniques;
  • Ability to read blueprints and landscape drawings is an asset;
  • Strong attention to detail and leadership skills;
  • Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and construction site protocols.

COMPENSATION AND CONDITIONS:

  • Permanent, full-time position;
  • Wage of $36.00 per hour, based on a minimum of 30 hours per week;
  • Occasional overtime may be required with applicable overtime pay after 44 hours of work per week;
  • Location of work: Client sites across GTA;
