Landscaping Foreman

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently looking for 1 Landscaping Foreman for a full-time position. The successful candidate will work closely with our dedicated staff and experts to ensure we continue providing our clients with the highest quality landscaping and interlocking services in the market.

As a Landscaping Foreman, you would be performing the following on a regular basis:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscaping, interlocking, and hardscaping crews on project sites;
• Plan, organize, and oversee the installation of interlocking stone, patios, walkways, retaining walls, pool surrounds, and related landscaping features;
• Coordinate site preparation, grading, drainage, excavation, and material deliveries;
• Establish work schedules and ensure projects are completed within deadlines and company quality standards;
• Train crew members in job duties, safety procedures, and company workmanship expectations;
• Inspect ongoing work and completed installations to ensure compliance with project specifications;
• Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity and efficiency;
• Requisition materials, tools, and equipment as needed for project completion;
• Perform hands-on landscaping and interlocking work as required alongside the crew.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of secondary school is required;
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in landscaping, interlocking, or hardscaping, including demonstrated experience supervising crews or leading project teams, is required;
• Strong knowledge of interlocking, grading, drainage, and landscaping construction techniques;
• Ability to read blueprints and landscape drawings is an asset;
• Strong attention to detail and leadership skills;
• Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and construction site protocols.

COMPENSATION AND CONDITIONS:

• Permanent, full-time position;
• Salary of $36.00 per hour, at least 30 hours per week;
• Occasional overtime may be required with applicable overtime pay after 44 hours of work per week;
• Location of work: Client sites across GTA;
