Salary: $72,000 per annum–The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 30 Hours a week

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and regularly update compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures applicable to Platinum Security Guards’ operations across all contracted/multi-site locations in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Conduct on-site compliance reviews at multiple client locations to ensure security services, guard deployment, reporting practices, and operational procedures meet the requirements of Ontario’s Private Security and Investigative Services Act (PSISA), related regulations, client contracts, and internal standards.
  • Perform site audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses of security operations, guard licensing, mandatory training compliance, incident documentation, and adherence to site-specific post orders.
  • Monitor and verify regulatory compliance at contracted sites, ensuring valid security guard licensing, proper uniform standards, mandated training certifications, and compliance with provincial and municipal requirements.
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management summarizing findings from multi-site inspections; identify regulatory risks and implement corrective action plans where deficiencies are identified.
  • Provide regulatory compliance training and operational guidance to site supervisors and guards across contracted locations, reinforcing licensing standards, reporting obligations, and documentation best practices.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, including the Ministry of the Solicitor General – Private Security and Investigative Services Branch, during inspections, audits, or compliance reviews involving any contracted site.
  • Coordinate and support the preparation and submission of documentation for company and site-level licensing renewals, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews affecting multiple operational locations.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A combination of college-level education and demonstrated industry experience in regulatory compliance or security operations is required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or compliance-related experience within the private security industry is required, including experience conducting site audits, regulatory inspections, or operational reviews.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Ontario’s private security regulatory framework, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence is required, as the position involves travel to multiple client sites.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
