CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

We are currently seeking 2 Truck Drivers to join our team. Successful candidates will work closely with dispatch, warehouse staff and fellow drivers to transport goods safely and meet delivery schedules.

JOB DUTIES

• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods along assigned routes within Canada and between Canada and the United States.
• Secure cargo using appropriate loading, padding and securement procedures to prevent damage during transportation.
• Verify loaded products and document cargo quantities and condition at pickup and delivery.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, onboard systems and equipment, and report defects or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily and weekly records of driving hours, cargo information, fuel consumption and other trip details.
• Prepare and submit bills of lading, inspection reports, trip reports and other transportation documents.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate pickups, deliveries and transportation schedules.
• Communicate professionally with customers and receiving personnel during loading and unloading.
• Follow applicable transportation regulations, road rules and company safety procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience.
• A valid Class 1/3 or A/D driver’s licence with an air brake/Z endorsement, appropriate to the assigned vehicle.
• A clean driving record.
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
• Ability to use GPS and other navigation tools.
• Good English communication and customer service skills.
• No formal education is required.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Employment type: Full-time, permanent.
• Hours: At least 40 hours per week.
• Wage: $37.00 per hour.
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate after 60 hours of work per week.
• Benefits: Dental and extended medical benefits.

• Travel: Continuous travel is required, including routes within Canada and between Canada and the United States. All work-related travel expenses will be paid by the company.
• Schedule: Early mornings, days, evenings and nights.
