Original Foods Limited is a food manufacturer, privately owned. We operate a 216,000 square feet SQF facility where we co-pack, make private label and also manufacture under our own brands. We create a very wide range of products: syrups, confectionary, bakery ingredients, sauces, broth, beverage and condiments. Our plant has different certifications and an extremely wide range of capabilities: Organic, Kosher Pareve and Dairy, Peanut free, Vegan, etc.
We offer employment opportunities on days, afternoons and night shifts with some positions requiring weekend work. We are willing to train the right individuals and offer opportunities for advancement and a competitive benefits package.
The following opportunity is available:
Production Workers (20 positions)
- Process raw ingredients and move throughout the warehouse and production area;
- Wash and clean raw ingredients and materials for production;
- Clean raw ingredients and materials and feed to processing machines for mixing;
- Assist machine operators in ensuring machine specifications are set accordingly based on product verifications;
- Pack produce into bags, jars, and other containers and organize by product;
- Clean work areas and equipment;
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, if necessary.
Requirements:
- No education requirements
- No work experience necessary – on-the-job training will be provided
- Good English language skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work different shifts
Compensation:
- This is a full-time, temporary position with at least 40 hours of work per week;
- Hourly rate of $18.00 overtime rate applies after 44 hours of work per week;
- Work Location 701 Broad Street East, Dunnville, Ontario, N1A 1H2.
