Wage: $21.00 hourly / 40 hours per week
Terms: Permanent, full-time
Schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Support Worker to assist parents in caring for their 6-year-old son with autism in our private home. The successful candidate will support daily routines, provide personal care, and help maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

Training will be provided. Experience working with children or individuals with mental health disabilities is an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship

• Assist with bathing, hygiene, and feeding

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Assist with regular exercise (e.g., walks)

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry

Requirements

Languages: English (Tagalog is an asset)
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
Experience: Will train

Work Setting

• Employer’s/client’s home

• Optional live-in accommodation available at no charge
