DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and care for child in employer’s own residence
- Prepare nutritious food and feed the child. Administer any medication as required by the family physician when necessary.
- Bathe and dress the child.
- Supervise playtime and naptime.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Accompany the parents and the child on medical appointments when necessary
- Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, light cleaning
REQUIREMENTS:
- Secondary School certificate
- Clean record (criminal record check required)
- Personal Skills: Reliable. Honest. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Patient. Experience caring for young children.
JOB TYPE: Full-time (30 hours per week)
LOCATION: Employer’s residence
EDUCATION: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
WAGE: CAD 20/hour
