Domestic Helper Wanted for Private Residence

A private household is seeking a responsible, experienced, and detail-oriented Domestic Helper to assist with household management and daily tasks. The ideal candidate should be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while maintaining a clean and organized home.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Housekeeping & Cleaning:

• Perform daily cleaning of all living areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Deep cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and other household spaces
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Maintaining cleanliness of furniture, upholstery, and decorative items
• Managing waste disposal, including taking out trash and recycling
• Restocking cleaning supplies and ensuring all cleaning tools are properly maintained

2. Washing & Ironing:

• Washing, drying, and folding clothes, linens, and towels
• Ironing and steaming clothing, including delicate fabrics and formal wear
• Ensuring proper care of laundry to avoid damage or shrinkage
• Managing laundry schedules to keep clothing and linens fresh and available
• Handwashing delicate or specialty items as required

3. Organizing & Household Maintenance:

• Keeping closets, cabinets, and storage areas neat and organized
• Rotating seasonal clothing and properly storing items when not in use
• Organizing household supplies and ensuring they are stocked efficiently
• Arranging and maintaining household decorations as requested
• Assisting with packing/unpacking for travel or seasonal storage needs
• Ensuring all areas of the home are well-kept and clutter-free

4. Errands & Household Assistance:

• Grocery shopping and restocking household essentials
• Receiving and organizing deliveries, packages, and mail
• Coordinating with maintenance professionals for minor household repairs
• Ensuring all household appliances and equipment are in working order
• Watering indoor plants and maintaining small outdoor areas if needed

5. Kitchen Duties:

• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen counters, sinks, and appliances
• Washing and organizing dishes, cutlery, and cookware
• Ensuring kitchen tools and utensils are properly stored
• Cleaning out the refrigerator and pantry to maintain freshness and hygiene
• Taking out kitchen trash and maintaining waste disposal systems

6. Event Assistance (If needed):

• Helping set up and decorate the home for gatherings, parties, or special events
• Assisting with table settings and replenishing food and drinks
• Keeping common areas clean and organized during events
• Washing dishes and cleaning up after guests leave
• Coordinating with caterers or external vendors if required

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred (housekeeping, nanny, or domestic helper)

• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be trustworthy, responsible, and discreet with family privacy

• Willingness to learn and adapt to household routines and preferences
