Wage:           $21.00/hour | 40 hours per week
Full-Time | Permanent | Early Morning, Morning & Day Shifts
On-Site Position | Start Immediately

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to assist a male client in his late 50s to early 60s with limited mobility in a private home setting.

The client has been diagnosed with hypertension and poorly controlled diabetes and requires attentive, knowledgeable care. He is also at risk of falls and requires a constant companion to ensure his safety and well-being. If you are patient, dependable, and committed to providing quality care, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care

• Provide close supervision and companionship to ensure safety

• Assist with mobility and regular exercise (e.g., walking)

• Assist clients in water (i.e., pool) when required

• Feed or assist in feeding

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Plan therapeutic diets and menus appropriate for medical needs

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience

• Experience supporting adults with physical disabilities is an asset

• Ability to safely handle weight between 61–80 kg (133–176 lbs)

• Strong English communication skills

• Tagalog language skills are an asset
