Job Overview: The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role coordinating the logistics operations for our clients. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

| Salary: | $34.50 per hour–The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions. |
| Vacation: | 4 % of the gross salary |
| Hours of Work: | 32 -44 Hours a week. Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week |
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods from origin to destination
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation
- Track shipments and provide real-time updates to clients
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipment status
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
Skills Requirement:
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the logistics coordination
- Possess an understanding and working knowledge of MS Office suite to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles
- Completion of secondary school is required
