The Position:

As a Lane Four Salesforce Developer, you are responsible for using your experience and knowledge of programming languages to code Salesforce applications. You’re a self-starter and committed to continuously learning from your lead developers and others on the team. You have a good work ethic and are always developing solutions with best practices in mind to design and implement the numerous features of our product roadmaps and bring to life a variety of web experiences for consulting clients.

Responsibilities

● Creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with clients and/or stakeholders;
● Maintaining organisation and effective pace to meet deliverable deadlines;
● Tailoring and providing solutions to the customer’s needs;
● Proposing technical designs from communicated business requirements and/or wireframes;
● Developing simple designs for complex features and tasks;
● Developing front end website applications;
● Designing user interactions on web pages;
● Developing back-end website applications;
● Seeing through a project from conception to deployment;
● Developing RESTful APIs;
● Collaborating with consultants and the product team in an agile environment;
● Iterating on designs based on feedback;
● Looking for opportunities for improvements;
● Taking initiative to conduct own research first and/or seeking out information to help substantiate ideas;
● Applying adept problem-solving skills, troubleshooting while also being sensitive to client’s turnaround time;
● Iterate on designs based on feedback;
● Working with other developers to make sure that features are delivered to satisfy
client needs;
● Developing clean, fast, and user-friendly web software, write unit tests;
● Maintaining a high level of commitment to your project and team.

What You’ll Bring:

● At least a high school diploma (Professional Diploma preferred) and at least 2 years of experience in both the functional and technical aspects of Salesforce engagement;
● Salesforce Administration Certification is preferred;
● Experience with developing Salesforce customizations and integrations;
● Knowledge in creating flows and data migrations from a diverse range of systems to Salesforce;
● Have an understanding of experience and confidence with integrations, advanced triggers with multiple functions, and front-end development;
● Write code and work with either JavaScript or an Object-Oriented Programming language such as Apex or Java based on specific requirements, (eg. basic Apex triggers), testing
● Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
● Proficiency with a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular JS, React, or Amber
● Proficiency with Object Oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
● Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL
● Possesses experience in Agile methodologies, including serving as a Scrum master
● Capable of running Agile projects and consistently improving processes
● Collaborate with Consultants and the product team in an Agile environment
● Exercise good English communication (written and oral) skills and interpersonal skills;

What we Offer:

● Full-time, permanent position consisting of at least 40 weekly work hours;
● The remuneration will be set at CAD$136,500.00 per annum;
