Opporture is looking to expand its operations in Canada and is currently hiring for an IT implementation manager who can direct and control the IT/Software development and implementation operations and work as a liaison with the end client, developers’ team in Canada and overseas.

Salary offered: | $100,000.00 per annum–The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions. |
Vacation: | 4% of the gross salary |
Hours of Work: | 32.5 Hours a week |
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
- Organize, direct, control and evaluate the information systems of the company, manage day to day operations including development and implementation.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures for electronic data processing, IT infrastructure, computer systems development and IT operations.
- Hands on experience in using project management tools like Azure Boards, Jira and Confluence. To manage teams’ work and organize documentation
- Organize meetings with clients on a regular basis to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
- Assemble and manage teams of information systems personnel to design, develop, implement, operate, and administer software and information systems.
- Allocating and Controlling Resources and Project budgets effectively.
- Recruit and supervise personnel to complete projects and oversee their professional development and training.
Desired skills and requirements
- A bachelor’s in technology degree related to computer science, electrical/electronics engineering or related discipline is required.
- 5-7 years of experience in systems analysis, data administration, including supervisory experience is required.
- Strong work experience in CRM/ERP systems like SAP, Salesforce, SIEBEL will be a definite plus.
- At least two full life cycles of demonstrable SDLC experience of either waterfall or Agile project Implementations.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills in the English language will be a value addition.
- Additional certifications in project management, business analyst will be an asset.
- Additional experience in client communication, account management or client management will be a definite plus.
