Requirements:
– No education requirements

Responsibilities:
– Process raw produce and move throughout the warehouse and production area (heavy lifting required up to 60 lbs)
– Various tasks: Wash and clean fruits and vegetables for peeling, cutting, sorting, weighing, portioning, counting, packaging;
– Feed clean produce and feed to processing machines for cutting;
– Assist machine operators in ensuring machine specifications are set accordingly based on product verifications;
– Pack produce into bags and other containers and organize by product;
– Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment;
– Check products and packaging for basic quality defects;
– Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, if necessary

Other details:
– Labor Intensive work, may work at a cold environment (processing rooms kept at 10 degrees Celsius)
– Location: Mississauga
– Wage: 14$ per hour
– Shift schedule: Monday – Sunday; 8 hours a day (Depending on the shift schedule)
