EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager for a full-time permanent position with our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring that procedures concerning planning and organizing teams responsible for the transportation and movement of clients’ orders across Ontario (and Canada!) are done properly.
DUTIES
- Responsible for planning the general logistics and supply chain procedures of Beyond Marble & Granite to ensure that our customers get the best possible after-sale service in the market
- Implement internal standards and safety procedures to ensure that all personnel abide by transportation regulations while maintaining high quality of services and products
- Oversee overall dispatch of orders, including its scheduling and overall logistics
- May coordinate bulk maintenance and servicing contracts for delivery vehicles
- Negotiate with insurance and third-party delivery companies for bulk and individual contracts
- Monitor logistics department’s overall performance and may suggest performance changes aimed at further improving how we perform our work
- Set department goals and may suggest performance incentives aimed at boosting team performance
- Coordinate all recruitment and hiring within the logistics department, including team leads and supervisors
REQUIREMENTS
- College Diploma in Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the retail/wholesale industry
- Excellent English language skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to determine areas of improvement within departments and to suggest ways to improve internal procedures
- Ability to effectively carry out duties under extreme pressure
COMPENSATION
- This is a full-time, permanent position
- Annual rate of $61,150 for at least 30 hours of work per week
- Overtime rate will only apply if working 44 hours per week and as approved by Senior Management
- Work Location: 8111 Jane Street, Unit #8, Concord, ON, L4K 4L7 | Remote work available
